The GC3-NAT is a beautifully built yet affordable classical guitar from the new G-Series from Takamine. This model is almost identical to the GC1, apart from the marked difference made by a solid spruce top, giving the GC3 a full and rich sound, founded by warm bass, accented by sparkling highs.

Build Quality of the Takamine CG3-NAT

The sound produced by the solid top of the GC3 is supported by traditional, fanned bracings for broad, dynamic tone. The back and sides of this nylon stringed guitar, along with the neck are made of mahogany. For playing comfort, the neck is 50.8mm wide and finished with a laurel fretboard and 19 frets. The laurel and mahogany combine to add warmth to the already sweet mids of this gorgeous instrument.

Sensitive Details

The Takamine CG3-NAT is finished with stylish and sensitive detailing. The head has been fitted with luxurious chrome tuners with mother-of-pearl buttons while the sound hole is encompassed by a beautiful rosette with mosaic, wooden inlay. Synthetic bone has been used for the nut and the bridge saddle and the dovetail neck mount is an invisible, but equally sensitive detail that provides strength and solidity of tone.
